Visualia Festival Pula 2025: City of Light and Artistic Installations

Pula shone in its full glory once again this year thanks to the Visualia Light Festival , which was held for the eleventh time from September 18 to 20, 2025. This unique festival, under the direction of Marko Bolković, once again transformed the city into a grand open-air light gallery.

At multiple locations throughout the city, visitors could experience a fusion of art, technology and interactive installations. Light creations illuminated Portarata Square, the Small Roman Theatre, the facade of the Archaeological Museum of Istria building, as well as the Arena Hospitality Group parking in Ciscutti Street, while numerous smaller points throughout the city further enriched the atmosphere.

The festival was ceremoniously opened with the arrival of the imposing puppet DUNDU – Giant of light, which attracted the attention of visitors of all ages with its walks through the center of Pula. Its movement through the city streets was a kind of introduction to three days of light wonders, when domestic and foreign artists transformed Pula into a fairytale stage.

Visualia has over the years become recognizable not only in Croatia, but also beyond, bringing together artists and audiences eager for new experiences in a space where art, technology and community intertwine.
