Verudela Art Park: Inspiration among the pines

Verudela Art Park, opened in 2019, is a true oasis of art located in the heart of Pula. This unique project was created in collaboration between Arena Hospitality Group, the City of Pula, and the Pula Tourist Board. Its main idea? To create a space where nature and art intertwine to enrich visitors’ daily lives and further enhance the city’s tourist offering.

Art installations that tell stories

The park boasts seven unique sculptures and installations , works by renowned artists. Among the authors whose works brought this vision to life are Bojan Šumonja , known for his provocative sculptures, and Vedran Šilipetar , who often plays with abstraction. They are joined by other great artistic figures such as Robert Weissman Nagy , Gualtiero and Simone Mocenni , Robert Pauletta , Siniša Majkus and Eros Čakić .

Each installation brings something different: from reflections on human nature to subtle comments on our relationship with the environment. You can walk along the park’s paths and discover sculptures that blend perfectly with the pine trees and sea in the background.

The vision behind the art

The overall artistic concept is the work of Gorka Ostojić Cvajner , whose idea was to create a place that goes beyond the usual gallery framework. Here, art emerges from the walls and becomes part of the landscape, creating a more intimate experience for each visitor.

Is it worth visiting?

If you are seeking inspiration, peace, or simply wish to enjoy the fusion of art and nature, Verudela Art Park is a place you must not miss. Its charm lies in its simplicity, as well as in the ability of each installation to evoke emotion or contemplation.
