hrSummer in Istria. After the last years of lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the cancellation of various events, this year the situation is finally changing. In the continuation of this text, I bring you several recommendations of events in Istria that you must definitely visit.

Medieval festival Svetvinčenat
And this summer in Istria, the Medieval Festival is being held in Svetvinčenat . At the festival you can see knight fights, witch hunts, falcons and owls Sokolary from the city of Sv. Bavona and various other interesting things. The festival will be held from 5 until 7 August. ( Photo gallery )
Dance and non-verbal theater festival
Organized by the Zagreb Dance Ensemble, the Festival of Dance and Non-Verbal Theater is held in Svetvinčenat. The festival was announced on the 22nd. until the 24th July. Spectacvla Antiqva
Every summer in Pula, during the summer months, Days of Antiquity and Spectacvla Antiqva , gladiatorial fights, are held. During the Days of Antiquity, life and work in the Roman era are staged at the Pula Forum. What did the ancient Romans eat, how did they dress, what weapons were used by Roman soldiers and gladiators. The spectacle is certainly the fight of gladiators in the Roman amphitheater in Pula. Legendfest
In Pićno on the 30th. Legendfest is held in July. It is a mystical festival whose goal is to acquaint visitors with Croatian intangible heritage, numerous legends and stories. The organizer of Legendfest is the Val kulture association. 15. Pican LegendFest will be held on the 30th. July in Picno.
There are other events that I recommend, but I don’t have any information about the organization, so they will be added later. If you visit any of these events, I hope you like them and have fun. I wish you a pleasant stay in the County of Istria.
