Fire in Pula – July 2022.

On 09 July 2022 a fire broke out in Pula, in the settlement of Valdebek . Low-lying vegetation and forests were burning, and because of the strong wind, the fire also threatened houses. For this reason, the help of the Air Force was requested, and three Canadair CL-415 aircraft were sent from Zadar, the so-called a Canadian from the Fire Fighting Specially Organized Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia . Thanks to them, not a single house was caught in the fire. Some auxiliary buildings and several cars were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.
